Roll 2 critique

This was my favorite for roll 2. If I could go back, i would dodge and burn better, and i would add a tad more contrast and expose it more to give it a clearer appearence.

This is favorite from roll one. I am pretty happy with it over all, however I wish i could go back and do a bit better solarizing the bottom right p[art of the hallway.

#7 solarization

This picture was taken by scott kuehn. He solarized this rose. He probobly used a pretty wide aperature as nothing behind the rose is in focus. The actual composition of the rose in beautiful and the solarization adds a whole new theme to the beautiful flower.

#6 cross processing

This Photo was taken by Brian Auer. He used cross processing to switch the color hues around. It gives the photo a completely different look. He exposed and printed the picture right. The aperature was probobly pretty small because pretty much the whole picture is in focus. I liked this photo because of the way the colors force you to look at the picture differently.  

#5 downtown mall (free choice)

This photo was taken by Elizabeth Opalenik. I really like this photo because of the way the open gate draws your eyes to the center of the photo. I like how she used a small aperature, and made sure the whole thing was in focus.

#4 polaroid transfers

I could not find the name of the person who took this. :( I like the way the colors transfered on the polaroid. The reds visibly stand out more and they also have a greater contrast to the green leaves on the trees.

#3 layers

I do not know the name of this photographer. He most likely used a small aperature because all of the background and foreground are in focus. I think he did an excellent job of showing an example of layers.
